The Hall of Heroes

It was a large, bright. oval room with portraits up on the wall all around the room,"Who are these people, they must be important people to be up on the wall in this stately room", I asked Him. "They are indeed very important people", He replied..."They are my heroes...this is the Hall of Heroes", He explained excitedly. "These are my servants and friends who nobody knows their names on earth but they love and worship Me with all their hearts and lift Me high in all their doings".
"Wow!" I exclaimed, "I didn't know you had a Hall of Heroes for your servants who are not well-known or 'famous' as we say on earth...and then I looked down the hall and noticed it stretched way beyond the oval room which was just the entrance and continued forever and the light that emanated from the path ahead was very white and bright.

"Do the pictures ever come down, if..." and my voice trailed off but He knew my thoughts and smiled a smile that touched the depths of my being, such utter love and forgiveness embracing my soul in that smile; "No, never because I knew them even before they were born, I knit them in their mothers' wombs...and I know the end from the beginning; I am always waiting with open arms for anyone who loses their way to come home, back to me". I began to weep for the sheer love and passion for His children I heard in His voice...and in my tears, I awoke.

He greatly delights in you and loves you passionately!

An Indescribable Desire

I was at our House of Prayer yesterday night and it became very crystal clear to me yet again how much I greatly desire the Presence of Jesus! The depths of my soul could not explain the feeling that always takes over in the worship that comes from being in the House of Prayer.
I truly believe that Houses of Prayer will be one of the incense-releasers of His Presence in this season and time...

What is it about worship that ushers in the tangible Presence and eventual Glory of God? Here's a hint: the word worship first appears in the Bible when Abraham tells his servants to wait behind while he and Isaac go on to 'worship' God. That tells me that worship involves sacrifice if you know the full story of Genesis 22. And sacrifice is all about trusting that He will definitely come through on what He promised, it's about not budging and believing no matter what's happening, it's about digging your heels deep and standing firm and worshiping through the hail and the storm and the whirlwind, until you hear the still small voice come through like Elijah did and then the victory is so sweet. But it's also about enjoying the worship and hearing His voice, seeing His face...what joy!

So back to yesterday, worshiping Him is what I love to do and considering we shall be doing a lot of worship in eternity, shouldn't you be getting a head start on it here on earth? I realize with every passing moment, that I need Him utterly and completely and worship is one of the best avenues to express this to Him, He loves receiving our worship and desires to respond to our praise!
There is no other way of describing this and if I may use the word 'junkie' in a positive way, I would say I was a 'Presence junkie'...I simply cannot do without Him...what about you? Go ahead, tip those incense bowls and release His joy!

God bless you as you seek Him, and find Him.
He truly delights in your worship!

An Anointing That Causes Abundance...

Hello there...Happy New Year!

I've been stuck on Psalm 23 for 5 days now and it doesn't seem to be letting up... I even dreamt vs. 5a in full color a few nights ago; complete with a table of goodies and others at the table giving me dark unfriendly looks! No kidding! And I sense that for 2015, we're stepping into vs. 5b: "You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over". What exactly does this mean?
The origin of the word "anoint" in the Hebrew means "abundance, to satisfy or fatten", wow! And the word "cup" could also mean "bag of money, container"...another wow! This isn't symbolism here as we often think when we read the Bible that the language has to be symbolic, this is actually pure simple truth.
So here's the verse put clearly: "You abundantly satisfy me such that my capacity to bless is overwhelmingly and lavishly overrun ...!" This is your portion for 2015 so receive it and declare it by faith. Let the truth and meaning of that verse become real to you like never before!
Best Blessings in 2015!

He utterly and completely delights in You...He truly does.
